HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT

Cradle-to-grave management of hazardous wastes was mandated by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), but complex regulatory requirements have made it difficult for many companies to remain current with best management practices.  Leaf Environmental & Engineering, P.C. (LEAF) offers many years of experience working with these regulations and has OSHA-trained employees for entering hazardous waste sites.  Having a working knowledge of the regulations allows our staff to negotiate risk-based performance standards for the cleanup of contaminated soil or groundwater.  LEAF is an approved Registered Environmental Consultant (REC) under the NCDEQ Inactive Hazardous Sites Program.  LEAF coordinates its efforts with regulatory agencies closely during projects to ensure that the client is only subjected to reasonable requests.
